TA/TM Day, January 9

Whether you are a new TA/TM or an experienced TA/TM looking to infuse new ideas into your pedagogy TA/TM Day has the stuff for you. The Learning and Instructional Development Center (LIDC) and the Office of the Dean of Grad Studies present the 13th Annual Spring semester 'Teaching Orientation Program.' The day long program offers workshops in surviving your first tutorial; "W" course instruction; facilitating effective discussions; using technology in teaching; helping students think critically and work cooperatively; understanding the contract and its lingo as well as many other areas.
