With bargaining fast approaching for our new Collective Agreement, we're excited to announce TSSU will be holding a Membership Retreat from Friday, February 15th till Sunday, February 17th at Loon Lake Lodge and Retreat Centre. The weekend is free and all members are eligible to attend! We are also looking for members who cannot attend but wish to sit on the selection committee.

The retreat is going to be a full weekend of planning and training, giving members an in-depth view of what we're bargaining for and how we can build member-driven campaigns to win the Collective Agreement we need. However, space is limited. Any members who wish to attend should write a single-paragraph application explaining:

• Who you are
• How you think the retreat will benefit your TSSU activism
• How you plan to apply what you learn to your TSSU activism
• Any dietary restrictions 

Please email your application to tssu@tssu.ca with the subject line "Bargaining Retreat" by 7:00 pm on Friday, January 25th.
We're also looking for two members who are not planning on attending and want to be part of the selection sub-committee for reviewing and approving applications for the retreat. Any members who are interested must be available to meet and discuss the applications between Monday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 30th. Please contact tssu@tssu.ca if you would like to be on the selection sub-committee.
