Stop SFU’s displacement of students and families from the mountain!

On Saturday March 7th SFU delivered notices to students and families living in the 209 unit Louis Riel House Residence that in August the building will be torn down. This is SFU’s only family residence and those in Louis Riel House count on the community and the more-affordable rents there to continue their studies and keep their families together.This Wednesday March 18th, residents are calling for this rally to demand SFU:

1) Re-house Louis Riel students & families on SFU campus at the same rents they counted on to finish their degrees

2) Replace Louis Riel Housing with low-income affordable, disability accessible, family housing for future students
