TSSU's September General Membership Meeting is on Thursday 21st, 12.30-2.30, on Burnaby campus in MBC 2290. Lunch is provided, and all members are welcome to attend. General meetings are the principal decision-making body of the union, where all members are able to speak, vote, and set the agenda. They also provide a great opportunity to find out what the union is doing, what issues are affecting different departments and the university as a whole, and to meet new people. We run three GMs each semester, taking place on Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver campuses. See our calendar for more information on this and our other committee meetings.

Following the GM, TSSU's Solidarity & Social Justice Committee has organized a free screening of The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975, 3pm, on Burnaby campus in AQ 5006. Snacks will be provided, and the event is open to all members. We will be running different events following each of our General Meetings this semester, including a pub social in Surrey, and bowling in Vancouver. We hope to see you there!
