Affordable Student Housing NOW! - Monday 7th March

West Mall Atrium, SFU Burnaby Campus - 1.00pm - 4.00pm, Monday 7th March

*Background*
Last year on March 7th SFU suddenly evicted the students living in Louis Riel House on the Burnaby Campus claiming the building was no longer safe to live in. Louis Riel house was the only low income student housing at SFU. Now a year later the SFU administration has announced it's new plan for Student Housing (link here)

This plan puts profit before students! SFU is planning on building student housing that will be priced so high that it will prevent the average SFU student from living on the Campus and enjoying all the amentities and benefits of student life. We are holding an info session on Monday, March 7th to bring together students to organize a campaign to stop the SFU administration from creating a culture of Exclusion!
