The TSSU and SFU administration have agreed in principle to a protocol for Final Offer Selection (click here for details), and the Greater Committee has decided to put it to a vote by the general membership.

The Greater Committee also unanimously recommends that members VOTE YES!

“YES” Vote: Admin does not pull healthcare funding, and the TSSU ceases all job action. We bargain for 21 days, and any remaining proposals are decided by Vince Ready.

“NO” Vote: we return to bargaining, and retain our strike position.

Job action continues during the voting process, including grade withholding. It will end only if the membership votes “YES.”

Results of the vote will be announced at the General Membership Meeting: Wednesday, Oct 28th, 430pm, Harbour Centre, room 7000.
